In November, 2003, Greg called me and said he was seriously thinking of taking a cruise. He told me not to say no until I had thought about it. What was there to think about? He could go on a cruise if he wanted to. Then he made clear that he was asking me to go with him!! I honestly didn't know what to do. Being impulsive is not in my nature, and I usually take months to acclimate to things like a vacation. The other issue was that I had a band concert during the time he was planning on going, and I really didn't want to miss it (we were playing Johan de Meij's Wind in the Willows). Well, fortune intervened, and Greg had to reschedule the trip for two weeks later, and Vin went ahead and told him I would go.

Boy am I ever glad that I did! These pictures don't do justice to the wonderful sights we saw and the incredible time we had.
