The North American Irish Dance Championships were held in Toronto,
Canada, June 30-July 3, 2001. (The dance photos are in the Irish
Dance photo section.) These are photos from our sightseeing. Greg
went with us, and enjoyed the city as much as we did.

The white building in
the left-back was our

Chinatown had wonderful
shops for fruit and cheapy
tourist gifts; Kerri especially
fell in love with it! Katie
preferred the fashion district
|
|

Upper Yonge Street; a really
hip, urban place! Music stores,
tattoo parlors and lots of
consignment shops.

The zoo, which was
outside Toronto; it was
record-hot the day we went.

The Casa Loma used to be
a private residence, but it
was lost during the owner's
financial demise; fortunately,
it is open to the public now.
